Stage 5 - Acceptance
Holding on to a divorce is not the same as holding on to your marriage. If you are still married, seek Christian counseling, do everything feasible to save your marriage. But if; you are divorced, stop mentally tormenting yourself and let it go. Allow this change in your life to become an opportunity for opening new doors.
Change your thinking.
There is an aura that illuminates from us when we feel good about ourselves. It commands respect from others. I once heard someone say, “Renewing the mind is evident by change. If you win it in the mind…you will win it in life. If you loose it in the mind you will loose it in life.” When I begin to change me from the inside out, change my thinking process I begin to heal. There is power in your thinking! Change begins in the thinking. You can change your whole world just by the way you think.
I realized the only way to find me was to let go and trust God to make it up to me. Yes, that’s right; I put it back on God to make it up to me. God got my back. He said. I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a future and a hope. (New International) Now more than ever, rely on Him.
