Stage 2 - Anger

I was driven by anger and revenge. It gave me a rush of adrenaline and I used it like a crutch to keep going. I spent days and nights plotting how I would ruin my ex husband and make him pay for what he was doing. One time I came so close to slashing all four of his car tires it was like something straight out of a movie scene.
Truth be told, usually when someone makes you angry it’s because your feeling of love runs deep for them. People you don’t have a relationship with or particularly care for seldom get you going like those you do. We hurt most when hurt by the ones we love.
Want to get even, don’t get bitter get better. Focus on improving your life. Channel that energy into something that is going to make you feel accomplished. See your divorce as a positive opportunity it can bring, not a negative. You have an opportunity to start over. Isn’t our God a God of second changes? Take this second change opportunity and run with it.
